The Raisins brand was born at the beach and it still lives in the sand, the salt and the surf. In 1973, in a garage in Laguna Beach, Pat Lingo (a Cal State Fullerton art major) decided that the selection of over-designed, uncomfortable swimsuit styles of the day just weren’t something a beach person really wanted to wear. So she began designing her own custom suits. Before long, the Raisins label was born.
Today that funky, authentic brand still captures the soul of the SoCal lifestyle and remains one of the hottest bikini collections on the planet. Raisins swimwear is known for its unique fusion of tropical designs, offbeat color combos and its uncanny knack for appealing to beach-goers young and young at heart. And that great, fun feeling of life on the beach threads through every figure-flattering style.
